Improving Sylvan Beach Park
Over the past three months, Sylvan Beach has been upgraded with a variety of fun additions. Expanded picnic areas, additional landscaping and parking, restrooms, WIFI and more.
Observation deck at Moncrief Park repairs completed
The observation deck at Michael Moncrief Park has been completed. This deck overlooks the banks of the San Jacinto River in Channelview.
New Playground Filling
Many of our parks in Precinct 2 are undergoing upgrades to the playground filling. This new wood chip filling is safer for kids, 100% natural and is a more cost effective and durable alternative to traditional fill.
Crowley Park Improvements
Crowley Park underwent extensive upgrades this last week. The basketball court facility was repaired and repainted, along with new fencing to the ball fields. The baseball dugouts and restroom facilities were also refinished.
