Today, we will be discussing a common question that many have: What is the difference between County Government and City (Municipal) Government?

According to AIDS.gov, about 1.1 million people were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS by the end of 2016 in the United States. Today, this virus and disease affect over 29,000 people in the Greater Houston area alone. Although there is not an effective cure to this virus and disease, Harris County is taking steps towards raising awareness and providing services to those who are affected.

Relationships with neighbors can be complicated. Some neighbors you’re really close with and speak to on a regular basis. Some you see when you check the mail but don’t really talk to. Others you never see or speak to until there’s a reason for the neighborhood to come together.

Nothing screams TEAMWORK than the awesome work Commissioner Garcia and team are doing to help Precinct families. Since COVID-19 started to affect Harris County, and businesses began to shut down, many resources became limited for some of the residents in our Precinct.
