CROSBY, Texas – Commissioner Jack Morman has announced the start of trail reconstruction at Crosby Park for Monday, August 6th. The $280,000 project includes reconstructing the nearly three-quarter mile asphalt trail to a concrete walkway.

 

Portions of the trail and all surrounding amenities will remain open for the duration of construction. Park goers are encouraged to take caution around the construction site and be mindful of directional signage for access points to amenities. Construction is expected to be complete in late September of this year.

 

Crosby Park is located at 419 Hare Road, just north of Highway 90. It features various sports fields including football, soccer, and baseball, as well as a tennis and basketball courts. This park also has a pavilion available for rent, picnic areas with barbecue pits, and recently-upgraded playgrounds.
