CLEAR LAKE, Texas – CLEAR LAKE, Texas – Commissioner Jack Morman is excited to announce the start of construction on Bay Area Hike & Bike Trail improvements. Improvements include expanding the trail with a new one-mile-long, 8-foot-wide concrete portion. The new trail will run along the Harris County Flood Control channel between the Bay Forest subdivision and Clear Creek ISD campus on Falcon Pass Drive. The project also includes constructing trailheads off of Space Center Boulevard and Clear Lake High School.

Construction on the $605,000 project is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2019. Pedestrians currently using this path are reminded to take caution around the construction site.
