Are your parks pet friendly?

Yes, our parks are pet friendly, but they must be kept on a leash at all times unless it is a specified dog park.

Can I take my pet to the splash pads?

For the safety of our fur friends and equipment, pets are not permitted on the splash pads.

Is the Ferry open?

How can I submit a service request?

You can submit service requests by calling our Community Assistance Line at 713-455-8104 during normal business hours. For assistance after hours, please call us at 713-455-0062. You can also submit a service request online at HERE

Is the Tunnel open?

Washburn Tunnel updates are posted in real time on the official Washburn Tunnel Facebook Page. Unless otherwise noted, the Tunnel is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Please note, the Tunnel is closed for routine cleaning and maintenance on the following days and times:

  • Every Thursday midnight - 4 a.m. on Friday
  • The second Saturday of each month from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday

When do you open splash pads?

Our splash pads are open from April to October of each year. During the season, splash pads may close temporarily for maintenance or inclement weather.
