A new decade is here and with a new year comes new opportunities for a better, happier, and healthier you. Don’t have a gym membership? No problem! Precinct 2 offers many free amenities for you to start 2020 with a BANG!

Did you know some of our parks have workout areas with cardio and weight resistance equipment? Some other locations even offer exercise stations along our trails. What makes these amenities even better is that it won’t cost you a dime to use them. See the list below to find a location with workout equipment nearest you:

The listed parks are perfect for those who want to get in touch with nature while working out towards a healthier year. However, there are other options if you are more about working out in a group and making new friends! That’s where our Community Centers come in. There are many free classes taught at our Precinct 2 Community Centers that focus on physical fitness and well-being, such as Yoga, Line-Dancing, Chair Volleyball, Rhythm Walking, Zumba, and Karate.

Though the time, dates, and locations may vary, our Centers have a variety of classes for you to enjoy (click here to find a Precinct 2 Center near you). So, forget about gym’s initiation fees and crowds! Precinct 2 has a little bit of everything for anyone looking to get healthier this year.
