Harris County Precinct 2’s Veteran Services Program

November 11 is known as the day we pay tribute to those who have fought and are currently fighting for our freedom: our veterans.

As we honor all who served our country, there are still not enough words to adequately show appreciation for their sacrifice.

Commissioner Adrian Garcia entered office with goals to make Precinct 2 a better place, and one was to create more opportunities that would better the lives of our veterans. At a Commissioners Court meeting held on October 8, 2019, Commissioner Garcia declared the V.V. Ramsey Community Center, located in 16003 Lorenzo St in Channelview, TX 77530, as the official V.V. Ramsey Veterans Center.

“I’m proud to establish a center in Precinct 2 that will help our veterans with all the services they deserve,” said Commissioner Adrian Garcia.

Precinct 2’s Veteran Services Program is committed to providing a service program that not only Precinct 2 veterans can benefit from, but also their dependents and surviving family members.
