1. Describe how your role and how it impacts the lives of Precinct 2 residents.

I work as part of the marketing and communications team, producing video and photographic content that documents public infrastructure projects, community programs, and official events. My work supports transparent communication and public engagement by translating government initiatives into clear, accurate, and visually compelling stories across digital and social platforms.

2. Can you describe a moment while working for Precinct 2 when you really felt the impact of your work?

One of the moments when I most clearly felt the impact of my work at Harris County Precinct 2 was while documenting programs that directly support our seniors, such as the Beat the Heat initiative and food delivery efforts. Seeing how these services reach people who truly need them—and knowing that my work helps inform, connect, and protect members of our community—was deeply meaningful to me.

3. What do you love most about your job?

Precinct 2 is more than a government office; it is a community where no one is left behind. Being surrounded by people who are genuinely committed to supporting one another and serving residents with care and dignity makes me proud to be part of this team.

4. What is your favorite Precinct 2 park and why?

That’s a difficult question because my work takes me to many of our parks, and each one offers something special. If you enjoy cycling, Juneteenth Park is a great option. To connect with nature, Challenger Seven Memorial Park or Fonteno Park. For families, James Driver Inclusive Playground is perfect for spending time with kids, and if you’re looking to exercise, Crowley Park is an excellent choice.

We are fortunate to have so many wonderful parks, and we truly hope the entire community enjoys and takes advantage of these spaces.
