Most Precinct 2 parks have reopened, however the following parks remain closed until further notice:
  • Clear Lake Park south side (including boat ramp)
  • Bay Area Park
  • Sylvan Beach
  • Rio Villa
  • Meadowbrook
  • Fonteno Park
Precinct 2 community centers have resumed normal operations as of 8am Wednesday 9/15/21. This includes: 
  • Bay Area Community Center
  • Crosby Community Center
  • East Harris County Activity Center
  • Felix L. Baldree Community Center
  • JD Walker Community Center
  • San Jacinto Community Center/Highlands Park
  • Vera May Community Center
  • VV Ramsey Veterans Center
  • Barret Station & Riley Chambers Community Centers
  • Pep Mueller Activity Center

Vaccination locations are currently being rescheduled and will be updated as more information is available.

As Precinct 2 and the rest of the Texas coast recovers from the impacts of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicholas, we will update this page with information and resources as they are available. For the most up-to-date information, follow our social media pages for real-time information on road closures, helpful resources, and additional information.

Although we were spared the most severe impacts originally anticipated, it's not too late to prepare for the next storm.
